Unfortunately, there is a small percentage (around 4% I think) of women that start menopause or the early stages between 40-45 years of age.

There is a blood test that you can get done to check your levels. I can't remember exactly what it's called, but maybe look in to it.

Hope things start looking up!Halli Gomezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09667712458691917486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8156415220623449380.post-11569247241375384522011-09-25T18:55:29.811-07:002011-09-25T18:55:29.811-07:00Well, looks like you've been given some good a...Well, looks like you've been given some good advice, so I'll just 2nd the above recommendations about seeing your Dr. No sense having such feelings if there is something that can be done about it. I chalked all those emotions to the fact it was my first year as PTA president. I thought the lack of a monthly cycle was due to stress. Anyway, you have gone through some major changes this year. I think anyone would be feeling like you do, but hormones changing don't help. I had a good cry this morning on the way to work myself. I'm sure hormones are a big part of what you're feeling. I am just now (at 51) feeling a little more like myself. I still have days but not like a couple of years ago when I thought I was crazy. : ) I think transitions combined with hormones are not good.
