Depleted, so Deleted

I had an entire Hodgepodge post written, but my answers were too blunt. They are exactly how I feel right now.

Negative. Forceful. Ungracious.

They could be words I regret someday.  I kept trying to edit and rewrite them, but still smelled a stench of arrogance and hypocrisy in my answers.  Truth stinks sometimes.

I even hit publish, but in the end, thought better of keeping my very strong opinions out there. Who needs to know what I think about selfies, Christmas cards, or the struggle I have with trust?

Some writings, like some feelings, need to be expressed but not in a public forum.

Perhaps I'm depleted of energy, gentleness, and love today. This is not good. Not a good time to post.
A very good time to hit the "Delete" button.

We'll sure miss your post today, Zoanna. Remember, the beauty of blogging is being able to share your authentic self. Hope you'll reconsider. :)

Sometimes, I feel like my answers are all like that too... I get it...

Oh my friend... your voice echoes my heart lately... I understand. My moms group at church's theme this year is "A Beautiful Mess" and I'll admit, I've not been feeling very beautiful lately, in my heart, my words, my actions... just all mess, all the time. I hear you. It's ok... and, when you are ready, I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts on Christmas cards, selfies, and all other kind of Hodgepodgey nothingness, that ends up in the end to be oh, so much more. Take heart, dear friend...

You know, the great thing about the HP is I think so many there understand these feelings. It's okay. Praying peace for you today. Hugs!
