Pause

What do think when you hear this word?

Even though I can see the word, the first thing I think is "paws" which make me think of warm and tender, but tough dog paws.

Since that word pic pounced into my brain, I'll have to pause to reconsider your question.

1. First my brain went to "reflect and listen". Maybe b/c my LACK of doing this lately (before the Lord).

2. Next my brain went to something more silly: pausing a movie :)

This is a cause for pause.

Slow breathing.
Slow and deliberate inhaling breath
Slow and deliberate
exhaling breath
Pausing to consider our
cause for pause
Our source of breath
Inhale
Exhale

(Why do you ask?)

Laurie, you've put more thought into the question than I have;)!

I ask because I was going to take a blog pause. You know, fast from it? I do that when I'm hurting--just want to run away and hide. "Pause" sounds so much more ...calm and purposeful.

Yes, I know the feeling.
I'd probably take more blog pauses, but it helps to process by writing about what is right and true and unchanging, even in the storms of life. I admit that I process even better when I know I'm not the only one going through storms and hurting, so please don't pause too long. I need you!!!
(Right, like it's all about me!) I'm lifting you up in prayer.

the righteous man runs into it and is safe." Proverbs 18:10

by the living Word of God I shall prevail, standing on the promises of God.
