If You Give a Lamb a Lemon

Okay, writers, I'm starting the "book" ( a day late, sorry). It will continue in the order you signed up to participate. Remember, in these books, the story comes full circle, so the last writer will have to end it like it starts. (This picture is a Google image and I was about to change my title to If You Give a Lamb a Dandelion, but my little 7-year-old said he likes the lemon better.)

If you give a lamb a lemon, he might ask for tea. And if you give him some tea, he will ask for...

He will ask for a hat. To have a proper tea party, one must dress for a party!

And if you give a lamb a hat he will want a proper tea party.
So you’ll have to bake some crumpets. And if you bake some crumpets, they might remind him of his Uncle Nigel. And when he thinks of Uncle Nigel…

(Kelly has been tagged.)
Sorry if I took too many lines! Too much fun!

...And when Uncle Nigel starts telling sailing stories, you better brace yourself because you’re in for a doozy or two. Like the story he tells of his travels to India. Did you know that during this particular sea voyage he came down with scurvy? He would have lost his teeth had he not discovered the healing properties of citrus fruit. Presumably India is where his favorite citrus originated. What is his favorite you ask? A lemon of course.

Now Uncle Nigel was full of good stories, but the lamb loved to hear the story of the lemon tree. Uncle Nigel had scurvy and the meat of the lemon could cure it. So while in India Uncle Nigel decided to climb a lemon tree and eat a lemon.
If you have ever tried to eat a lemon, you know that your face will get all ugly. Lemons are sour and your lips will curl and your hair will stand straight up.

Now Uncle Nigel was full of good stories, but the lamb loved to hear about the lemon tree. Uncle Nigel's teeth were close to falling out so he needed a cure right away. Finding a lemon tree, Uncle Nigel climbed to the top to pick the best lemons. If you have ever eaten a lemon, you know that they will make your face look funny!
I didn't like the first one I wrote.
