Sarah just came home from a blueberry-picking outing with Kelly G. I want to eat them ASAP, but not sure how. What's YOUR suggestion? I have a half quart. (She went along to be a baby holder and picture taker, hence the small amount.)

In a muffin. I have my favorite recipe on ordinary mother somewhere. If you're interested, just put the terms in the little search box.
I just picked blueberries today too! I love them in yogurt with granola for breakfast or a snack. So yum. Also in a blueberry lemon pie. But you need a whole pint for the pie. :(
All three sound great. This a.m. I opted for muffins. Made them in a Twinkies pan just for fun (and because it cleans up better than my muffin pan). I used Sharon Lilley's recipe that calls for a cup of whole wheat flour and a cup of white flour (cuz it was easier to get to than Laurie's at breakfast, that's all).
blueberry crisp- hands down. it's flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and butter topping over 4 cups blueberries, served hot with vanilla ice cream. make it every year! YUMMY. -Beth K

Freeze them and then mix with lemon yogurt...VERY YUMMY, easy, refreshing snack or side dish with dinner.
