Q&A Wednesday: Meeting Someone from History

If you could spend 24 hours in the company of someone who has died (family member, friend, or person from history), who would it be and why?

Obviously the saints reading this would include Jesus Christ, but don't feel that if you say someone else, we think you value Him less. We shall one day behold Him face-to-face forever, not just for 24 hours. As our late friend Earnest (from CCC) used to shout, "Glo-ree! Glo-ree! Yes, Lawd, glo-ree!"

Hmmm, so many. Jane Austen and Lillas Trotter, perhaps?

I've always said St. Paul...I can't imagine what it would be like to be in his presence and share his joy. I might also say my grandmother who died when I was 2. Not only would I get to remember her, I'd also be able to give my mom the chance to say goodbye. What about you Zo?

I'd say Paul the Apostle, because I'd really like to find out more about living daily to please God, even with all the struggles you go through. I'd also like to show him around our world a bit, let him see stuff like computers, and see his surprise :-)

General George W. Pickett. I love Civil War history, and would love to hear about his charge from his perspective. If I ever own an English Bull Dog (my dream), his name will be Gen. George W. Pickett, seriously. And I will call him "General."

I'm not really sure...but I'm gonna say Deborah (the OT judge); I think she was in an interesting position, and I'd love to have some things clarified...

Also, I accidentally posted the last comment on your other post under my hubby's account...whoops!! That was me saying I check in every couple of days...

I would like to spend that time with my mom, whom died 13 years ago today. I was 21 then and didn't realize then that life would bring about so many question that I wish she were here to answer. I would also like her to meet her grandchildren.
