Thanks, FishMama! What a silly thrill it gives me, like getting tagged on the playground during a game of Red Rover.
Book Meme
EDIT: I TAG 2 friends whose last names start with B: DONNA and KATE.
Here's how this tag goes:
1) Grab the book closest to you
2) Open to page 123, go down to the fourth sentence
3) Post the text of the following 3 sentences
4) Name the author and book title
5) Tag three people to do the same
On page 123 is only one short paragraph and then a diagram called Desk Setup. Um...not exactly what I had in mind. So I'll go back a page. (I adopt the right to tweak the rules, just like FishMama did!)
The book: Simplify Your Life
Author: Marcia Ramsland
Page 122, sentence 4, plus the next 3.
"'If I can't manage this better, I am going to have to look for another
job.
The stress is killing me."
All three women were in despereate need of organizing their workplace, and they needed help right away. The good news was that there were ways to streamline how they went about their work, but they just hadn't had the opportunity to learn them yet. They agreed that a lack of organization results in the stress of misplaced items, deadline pressures, and busyness without satisfaction. "I tag Beth K, Renee in France, and Sarah, my daughter. Let me know if and when you do this and if I can link to you.

I'm so glad you're doing this book. A few months ago you mentioned the title, and I got it from the library. However, there are more than one book by that title! I'm thankful you mentioned the author for me to know that I read a different book than you're talking about. (I wasn't impressed with the one I read.)
Thanks for tagging me zo. It's posted and sure you can link to me. What fun!
I cannot put remarks at all times. Yesterday the connection was refused. Thoka you very much for thinking of me. The problem is that French books would not interest foreigners (and French sentences too) and if I look for an English book, there will be not translation available in bookshops for my French visitor. Si i'm sorry but it's not worth Iplay the game this time. Please excuse me. Westay in touch, and I wish you a very good week for you and your family.
Oh, I perfectly understand. I didn't even think about the French/Enlgish language barrier because your English is so good. But I would be interetsed in knowing what books you're reading whether I understand them or not!:)
Am I one of the friends whose last name starts with B?
My desk is scattered with books, and it was difficult to know which was closest! ;) Rather than take one of the myriad literary criticism books lying around, I chose a novel.
Mrs. Wannop said rather coolly:
"I don't know about you both. It's you I'm taking under my protection (it's your phrase!). As for Valentine: she's made her bed; she must lie on it. [...]"
Ford M. Ford - Some Do Not . . .
Well, Isabelle, I forgot at the time I posted that you are one of my "Last Name Begins with B" friends. (Guess I'e 'b-friended' a few people.) I was thinking of 2 other friends, Britton and Bishop, but hey, yours works! I enjoyed reading your choice from the novel.
Woops! hope I didn't appear too pushy here. Loved your pun :)
Pushy? You're kidding, right?
