Describe the place where you do, or would, like to go for worship and prayer in or around your home, to be alone with God. What makes it your favorite place for "solitude" (I put this in quotes because not everyone gets to be alone when they want.) What changes would you make to improve upon that place?

It may sound lazy, but one of my favorite places is in bed! Pillows at my back and one under my Bible!
The other favorite is outside under the covered part of our patio where there's a tucked-in private feel. It's a great place to pray.
Not any lazier than a sofa with big pillows like I do. The way my house is laid out, our living room is tucked away, which makes it ideal for getting away from noise and action for a bit.
Twas my comment above, in case you had any doubt.
I remember going on a dorm room open-house tour at a Bible college our daughter went to. Many of those small shared rooms had tucked away quiet-time spaces and it struck me again how important a "prayer closet" is. Was it Susanna Wesley who would signal to her sons that she was having a quiet-time/prayer-tiime when she was sitting in her chair with her head covered by her apron? I love that!
