I've always wanted to go to historic Savannah, Georgia, and we are actually toying with the idea of going there instead of our usual Myrtle Beach. Considering we will probably just have our 7 year old with us, we need to do something kid-oriented, but also don't want it to be a kid-driven
vacation. If you've been, can you please share your tips? Please include "must see" places, good restaurants if you remember them, and what not to bother with. (I tend to be skeptical of online reviews from travel sites. If you had three days in Savannah and the vicinity, what would you do again?)

I've always wanted to go to Savannah too, and Charleston! Otherwise, I'm not a big fan of the south, but those two cities I'd love to visit!
I don't know about Savannah - we just moved to Charleston, SC, and we really need to get down there! You'll have to let us know what you end up doing!
Thanks for your visit to my blog this morning! I've not been by your blog for a while; I do love it, though. You have so much to share, and I really appreciate you!
Nope, can't help a bit, but it sounds like a go!
I wanted to take opportunity here to say I love the photos you've posted lately (sidebar and w/ your sis!)
PS Maybe you should come to Lindsborg to see the "Dalallama Telecomma"! Funny, crazy and brilliant that you should mention Dala Llama referring to the Dala Horse!
can't help you out since i have not been there. but it sounds like fun! post lots of pictures wherever you go.
I've never been there, but we want to go someday! Ted has actually been fascinated with Savannah for years, even though I don't think he knows much about it. I joke and tell people that we named Savannah "Savannah" after the city because of Ted's obsession with it!(That was not our motivation for choosing the name, by the way.)
