From Labor Room to Delivery, I Was There!
Tonight I was in a birthing center. Not physically, but spiritually. It was such a thrill, such a joy to witness the new birth of a "baby girl" named Brandi tonight. In many ways it was just like the moments everyone experienceS when they see their own child, grandchild, niece, or nephew born. Tears and laughter flow uncontrollably. The waiting is over. All heaven rejoices at new life! This is the greatest blessing of being on the Alpha team. To be there when God breathes His Spirit into someone, that's an indescribable moment. Chesapeake gals: please be sure to meet your new sister on Sunday. She may not be wearing pink and I seriously doubt she'll have a binky in her mouth, but she's already smiling and has her Father's eyes!

Who is she? I only can recall one Brandi and she's a teenager. Is that the Brandi you are talking about? It is very exciting to witness that, one time in church a young girl raised her hand in response to wanting to say the sinners prayer, I was a mess crying. She looked scared by my reaction. But it is exciting!
She's a friend of Lindsay who is Beth K's sister. She's been coming to church sitting on "my" side (the right, facing stage, about 8 rows or so from the back).
Ok, thank you!
That's awesome! I have been praying for her! Thank you for sharing!
